Yesterday Ben and I did a bunch of yard work. I mowed and trimmed the lawn for the first time this year. Last year I was 271 pounds when I mowed the lawn for the first time in the season. This year I weigh 143 pounds. SCORE!
We went to Ben's parents' house and borrowed their pickup truck and loaded it up with wood and borrowed their wheel barrow. We fit double in the truck what we could have fit in the trunk of my VW Passat. We were able to fit all the wood in our shed (it's brimming with wood now, hah!).

By the time we were done doing that and returning the truck we were both worn out. We had talked about making Chicken Parmesan for dinner but that took too much work so we had a Stouffer's MiB (meal-in-a-bag).
Today we're doing laundry and then going to clean the windows (inside and outside!) since they're pretty yucky.
I got my free download of Billy Burke's single off his album that's due to drop sometime in June of this year. The single is "Removed" and it's been on repeat in my headphones for the past 20 minutes. I gotta say - I'm intrigued and curious to hear the rest of the album when it comes out. If you'd like your own copy, just go to http://www.billyburke.net/ and sign up on the right side to receive the download. If you read about his influences it gives you an idea as to what kind of music he does. I was able to easily download and save it into my iTunes player (it made an attempt to open in Windows Media Player - shame on you, file!). Such a talented and handsome man! I swear some guys just get better looking as they age.
Here's the latest photo of me. This was taken Easter weekend (2 weeks ago) when we went to Timberlodge in Owatonna, MN for dinner with Ben's relatives.

I guess that's all for today. I'm going to go drink more coffee (wheeee) and change out of my pajamas at some point this morning. My legs/butt are sore from going up and down the ladder yesterday. Also, let me note that I have NO ASS anymore. Flat and minimal cushion. I should be happy (trust me, I am) but damn if it doesn't hurt sitting on a hair chair for more than 5 minutes!
